DICOM
DICOM stands for Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine.
This is well known as one of the global standards to save and communicate medical pictures. DICOM is mainly used for the diagnostic image data from computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), endoscopes, ultrasonic waves and so on. DICOM is applied to most dental CTs.
